DIRECTIONS Brown meat and set aside. Combine: soup, milk and sour cream. Stir in potatos, half of cheese and half of french fried onions. Thoroughly dry the pieces of chicken with paper towels.
Steps to make Chicken-Potato Chops

- In a saucepan, heat 3 tablespoons of oil.
- Add in the chopped onion and sauté till translucent
- Add in the ginger garlic paste/minced ginger and garlic
- Add in the chopped tomatoes and cook till soft and mushy
- Add in 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala powder and salt as per taste
- Add in the chopped cilantro leaves.
- Add in the minced meat of your choice.(Here I’m using chicken)
- Add in half a cup of water if you feel it’s too dry.
- Cook till the meat is tender and done.
- The dish should be dry like this
- When done, add in a teaspoon of lemon juice and mix well.
- Beat two eggs in a bowl
- Take a small amount of mashed potato and flatten it on the palm of your hand, forming a flat disc
- Add in a tablespoon of the cooked and cooled minced meat.
- Form another disc out of mashed potatoes and place it over the meat.
- Secure the ends well forming a smooth cutlet.
- Dip the cutlet/potato chops in the beaten egg
- Coat them with bread crumbs/rava (sooji)
- Heat oil in a pan for shallow frying.
- When the oil is hot, carefully place the potato chops in the oil and cook for about 2 minutes on each side
- Place it on a paper napkin
- Serve hot as a starter or a snack
