- Add pesto sauce, basil leaves, cooked pasta and pasta water to the pan. Continue cooking for 2 minutes.
- Add milk to the pan and cook for 1 more minute.
- Hot delicious pasta ready to serve.
- (Optional) add grated Parmesan at serving.
Stir in the farfalle and cook until the mixture is hot. Season to taste and stir in the tomatoes before serving. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Drain the pasta and run it under cold water just until it stops. Heat butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
