Chili is one of the most popular of current trending foods on earth. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions every day. Chili is something that I have loved my entire life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

This is the chili recipe the gang eats at Purdue Boilermaker football games. I always prep and cook the chili the night before and then reheat the next day. This is a combination of many different tomato-based chili recipes. Place the ground beef in a large pot and throw in the garlic.

To get started with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can cook chili using 12 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Chili:
  1. Get 1 lb ground beef
  2. Make ready 1 can (15 oz) Pinto beans
  3. Take 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans
  4. Take 1 can (15 oz) black beans
  5. Take 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  6. Prepare 1 white onion diced
  7. Make ready 1 green bell pepper diced
  8. Get 2 garlic cloves minced
  9. Prepare 2 packets Taco seasoning
  10. Get 1 can diced tomatoes
  11. Get 1 tsp Of Chili Powder
  12. Take 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

It is so simple and has SO much flavor. Add chili powder, cumin, oregano, paprika, cayenne (if using), and season generously with salt and pepper. Pour in kidney beans and crushed tomatoes and bring chili to a boil. Being in Texas, chili is a staple on the few cold days we have each year.

Instructions to make Chili:
  1. Heat pot on medium heat with 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Add meat and garlic salt and cook until browned. Once meat is browned, about 10 minutes, add onion, garlic and bell pepper sauté for another 5 minutes.
  2. Then add beans, cans of tomato sauce, can of diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes and chili powder mix well and simmer on low for about 30-35 mins. If it gets to thick add a little water or broth and then just garnish with your favorite mixings and enjoy

Pour in kidney beans and crushed tomatoes and bring chili to a boil. Being in Texas, chili is a staple on the few cold days we have each year. This is something I've come up with after years of trying to perfect an easy-to-make and delicious chili. This is a very spicy chili and the perfect meal for a chilly day. The beans are optional here as they traditionally aren't found in Texas chili.
